The original cake...
The is the icing..... Butter, sugar, evaporated milk with a little bit of vanilla!
The cake with the icing already poured on it. For some reason, the cake got a really pitted look. It was still warm when I poured the icing, as the recipe said. Okay.... Anyway, I let it cool, all together and then cut a slice. I'm telling you, it is yummy!! Not good for your waistline, though!! But the taste? Melts in your mouth and gives you a good feeling all over!!
These old recipes sure seem to know how to make us feel good, huh?? I'm loving trying them out!
